I am a lifelong conservative who identifies with the Tea Party restricted government ideology. For a while, I considered that I would support Trump over a Democrat, just because Trump might be more conservative. However, the more I heard Trump speak, the more clearly I came to know that he:
So while I may reluctantly have voted for him, I was a Never-Trump-but never-a-Democrat voter in the primary. Since then, I cannot in good conscience vote for Trump based on all the objections above. I can’t vote for Hillary, either, so I suppose I will vote libertarian as a “wasted” protest vote.
